Hosted by SALGA, the LGICT Network is the knowledge sharing portal for ICT in Local Government. Its objectives are sharing documents (e.g. Policies, Manuals, How To, Case Study etc.), identifying and promoting best practices, updates about important events, jobs and news, and providing a space for free discussion and exchange.
- Southern African Legal Information Institute (SAFLII)
SAFLII is an online repository of legal information from South Africa that aims to promote the rule of law and judicial accountability by publishing legal material for open access in line with the objectives of the global Free Access to Law Movement.
- South African Government – Latest Acts/Drafts/Bills/etc.
This is the official South African Government link to the Constitution, Acts, Bills, Draft Bills, Notices, Parliamentary documents, White/Green Papers, Provincial documents and other information.
- Acts Online
Acts Online provides legislation, including amendments and Regulations, in an intuitive, online format.
Polity offers free access to South African legislation, policy documents and daily political news.
- Laws of South Africa by the University of Pretoria
The Oliver R Tambo Law Library at the University of Pretoria provides “Current Legislation” which contains only the latest versions of all the Acts and Regulations. This is known as “in force” legislation.
